Description

In this lab, students will use gel electrophoresis to analyze DNA fragments—from a surprise litter of puppies. By tracking the inheritance of hair length, they will use the results to determine the genotypes and phenotypes of the puppies and identify the puppies' father.

Time: 45-50 minute class period (additional time needed if students pour gels)
