Description
This lesson explores the role of the plant cell’s central vacuole. Students examine two plant cell models to develop an understanding of the vacuole’s structure and function. Using two halves of a baby carrot, students investigate what happens when one half is covered with salt and connect their observations to changes in the central vacuole.
