Description

Overview:   The Plastics Module takes place over three days. By the end of the curriculum, students will have a deeper understanding of 1) the environmental impact of single-use plastics, 2) the development of bioplastics, and 3) what types of jobs (or careers) are important to solving the problem of single-use plastics. (Recommended for Grades 6-8)

Experimental Timing:  From start to finish this activity can be completed in three 45-minute class periods.
